Enriching Our Catholic Future

Newman Foundation, Inc. has been enriching the lives of Catholics in the Lexington area for almost 40 years. The Foundation has labored faithfully over the years to fulfill its mission of deepening personal, spiritual and intellectual development of those at the Newman Center, the University of Kentucky, and the Catholic Diocese of Lexington. So it is not surprising that the theme of its current campaign is “Enriching Our Catholic Future”.

In 2005, Newman Foundation, Inc. realized its long-time dream of establishing a Chair in Catholic Studies at UK, a $1 million endeavor in which the funding has already been secured. However, the dream does not end there. The foundation hopes to secure an additional $2,650,000 to fund a professorship/research Chair in Catholic Studies at UK, expand the campus ministry and student leadership programs, enhance the Distinguished Speaker Series, and more.
